Hi, I’m Jenna Thompson — the artist behind Selah Artistry.I’ve been a professional makeup artist since 2004 and have had the privilege of working with over 150 brides throughout my career. How do I book with Selah Artistry?
To reserve your date, simply fill out the bridal inquiry form. Once your date is confirmed as available, you’ll receive a booking link that includes your contract and retainer invoice. Your date is officially secured once both are completed.
What is required to secure my wedding date?
A signed contract and a 30% non-refundable retainer are required to reserve your date. Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
When is the remaining balance due?
The final balance is due prior to your wedding day. Details and due dates will be outlined in your booking agreement.
Do you have a minimum for bridal bookings?
Yes. Weekend weddings during peak season require a minimum number of services. This ensures the morning timeline runs smoothly and allows for the full Selah Artistry experience.
What is a bridal preview (trial)?
A bridal preview is a dedicated 90 minute appointment where we design and refine your wedding day look together. This allows you to feel fully confident and ensures everything is seamless on your wedding day. These are booked Thursdays only and are located at Kindred Salon in Prescott.
Is a bridal preview required?
No, but they are recommended. However, if you are traveling here from out of town or cannot make a Thursday date work we can discuss over email or text what your vision is.
Do you travel on location?
Yes. On-location services are included within a set travel radius. Travel fees may apply for locations beyond that range.
Will you bring an additional artist?
Bridal services typically take longer than bridal party services to allow for detailed skin prep and customization. A full timeline will be created for your wedding morning to keep everything running smoothly.
How long does each service take?
For larger bridal parties, an additional artist may be required to ensure a timely and relaxed getting-ready experience. This will be discussed during the booking process.
What products do you use?
I use a curated kit of professional, high-performance products chosen for longevity, photography, and a natural, elevated finish.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Arrive with clean, dry skin and no heavy skincare or sunscreen applied. A full prep guide will be provided after booking so you feel completely prepared.
What is your cancellation policy?
All retainers are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation, payments made are non-transferable. Full details are outlined in your contract.
Do you offer touch-ups or stay services?
Touch-up services may be available upon request. Please inquire for custom pricing and availability.
Can I make changes after booking?
Service adjustments can be made within a certain timeframe prior to your wedding date. Final numbers are locked in before the event to ensure proper scheduling.
